Accounting For The Small Business

Pros:

Easy to use, intuitive and with great reporting tools that allow me to keep on top of my business performance. Invoicing to clients, profit and loss reports, VAT returns, keep up to date on cash flow and knowing how my business is performing every day

Cons:

I want to be able to compare this YTD performance with LYTD performance and that isn't possible to do

Fabulous and efficient.

Comments: I have used Sage for three companies previously and chose tonuse it for my own company.

Pros:

Its very to use and very thorough, it also has helpful cues if you get stuck.

Cons:

Not everything makesnit through to the bank reconciliation page.

Intuitive and easy to use even for an amateur

Pros:

Intuitive even for someone who is not a bookkeeper, connects to bank accounts to make reconciliation easier

Cons:

Takes a lot of resources and slows my computer down

Sage Gliches

Comments: Sage has a few glitches. It pulls through transactions twice from my account. Transactions that have been already reconciled suddenly re-appear. It has also put a transaction both in the income and outgoings. I find creating rules particularly difficult. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t

Pros:

I find navigating the site quite easy. Invoicing is easy.

Cons:

I find it hard to find help in the help centre. If you don’t put in the phrase it likes it can be quite difficult to find the answer to your question

Sage Ireland small professional business review

Comments: Positive, although one is slowed down slightly online waiting for pages to load.

Pros:

The product is has a country version specific to Ireland. The payroll and accounting are linked.

Cons:

Editing after payments is not allowed and when reconciling, if a payment for the next month is reconciled, you can’t roll back to the end of the last month to do a reconciliation to follow your printed monthly bank statements, and the bank column shows transactions but no balance column.

Best Accounting Features For Business

Comments: With Sage Accounting, we have been able to manage all our accounting needs.

Pros:

With Sage Accounting, we handle most of our accounting needs and it makes business management easy.

Cons:

Well, Sage Accounting has been flawless.

MY Sage and ME

Comments: Great as they are only a phone call away.

Pros:

Sage helps my business and I don't need to worry about downloading updates

Cons:

Some features I asked for have not been added

Good online solution especially for Sage desktop software users.

Comments: The overall experience with Sage Accounting has been good, ability to work on the data by a number of people at the same time and the increased security of data has been a great improvement over a desktop software

Pros:

I like that this software is an online solution.

Cons:

It is quite complicated to use, not as straightforward as their competition.

Great Desktop Software

Comments: It was my accounting software of choice prior to COVID and cloud based software became the ideal software

Pros:

It is an easy to use accounting software that can be easily customized to an individual's business needs

Cons:

The only downfall of Sage Accounting is that it is a desktop platform

Pros:

great integrations and does everything you need.

Cons:

small and complicated to use for beginner.

Sage Online Accounting

Comments: The software is good and reliable. Very few errors have happened to the software, since we have moved to the cloud. So Good.

Pros:

You can log in from anywhere. Take on is easy. Invoicing is simple to use. Allocating receipts and payments straight from the important bank statements makes processing easy

Cons:

The stock system does not intergrate well between the stock holdings and values and the balance sheet. Extra modules are required for this basic function and this does not always solve the problem. This results in clients needing to continuously reconcile stock to balance the Inventory Valuation to the Inventory Ledger.The project management systems need to be improved so individual and multiple projects can be quickly monitored in an income statement.

Small Business Sage Cloud Accounting

Comments: Excellent, I am always surprised each time I speak with one of your support desk team, just how charming, patient and informed they are.... don't ever change that please. Im a fan .

Pros:

Simplicity and exception support staff, well trained and friendly

Cons:

wish it had easier search options, that it would recognise more key words when seeking a specific transaction.

Technical but Practical

Comments: I use it everyday, and as my experience increases I am learning about more of what we can do in it.

Pros:

Fairly Easy to use. The Software obviously has a lot of capability.

Cons:

Multiple invoice payment...not sure if it can grab a selected range to pay instead of typing them in one by one.

Sage Accounting for every day

Comments: I use sage for my own practice, for my husband's business and I have 34 clients where I am the invited Accountant. This system is well designed to make accounting easier.

Pros:

It is easy to set up and use. Because it is an online system it can be accessed anywhere anytime.

Cons:

They do have some issues with slow or degradation but have been working on this. Also billing department is not easy to contact so have had issues there

Good software whit good functionality

Comments: Overall, great product. This has alot of functionality, including tracking expense, accounts receivable, inventory, etc.

Pros:

The tracking mechanisims and integration into banking.

Cons:

The financial reports such as balance sheets and P&L can be developed or customized to be more user friendly.

Sage Accounting

Comments: Overall experience of Sage Accounting is positive. It is a reliable and comprehensive tool for different business scale.

Pros:

The interface is very user friendly and straightforward. New user is easy to pick up the use of software. It also provide comprehensive features like invoicing, payroll and inventory management.

Cons:

Even the tool is user friendly, some features could be complex for users without accounting backgrounds.

Sage accounting

Comments: Love it, it’s helped me loads and so easy to use, need help sage are always there and helps every time,

Pros:

Banking helps so much, reconcile is easy to do. Invoices help keep up to date on payments

Cons:

Having to put all the customers in with all there details,

Sage for Small Business

Pros:

Easy to use and well laid out allowing access to everything I need for the business.

Cons:

Its a bit daunting at first with the sheer amount of information and setting up.

Easy accounting

Pros:

From my point of view, Sage Accounting worth every penny. It was easy to deploy and use even with a little help from the support team, which by the way does a great job. Getting the weekly/monthly reports is easy.

Cons:

Is not perfect, there were a few flaws but were resolved.

PERFECT PRODUCT

Comments: Perfect for my needs. Never lets me down

I can't choose anything in particular because Sage has always been perfect for me in every way,

Cons:

The fact that sometimes I just wish I knew everything there was to know about the product

Great customer service but not cheap!

Pros:

The customer service is great! Friendly, knowledgeable staff located in Canada!

Cons:

It’s not cheap! Other softwares (such as Xero) is less expensive. Sage also used to be a one time cost and now it’s an annual subscription.

Sattisfied Customer

Comments: Extremely satisfied. Very useful guidance. Extremely helpful customer and IT support.

Pros:

Easy to use, explanatory guidance very helpful.

Cons:

No problems encountered yet. Very satisfied.

Accounts with sage

Comments: Have had no problems with this set up but I personally feel it could be a bit more developed

Pros:

Liked could connect to clients device so no need to go on-site could work from home

Cons:

I do think it could be a bit more clearer and shorter to use

The sales department will upsell you on features you do not need

Comments: The customer service is terrible. They do not return your call. They also tell untruths. I called them out on it and told them I was a CPA so to "save" their fibs.

Pros:

It's good, but no better than the other softwares on the market. They all do essentially the same.

Cons:

The price. They upsell you on features you do not need.

Great Platform

Comments: I have enjoyed using this software over the years and customer service has been reasonable.

Pros:

I like the stability of the program. I have been with Sage for over 13 years and previously with Peachtree. It has been very reliable.

Cons:

I am not a fan of the appearance. I wish it had more features and was cleaner visually.
