Motive to Move

Comments: Motive was easy to set up with our client specialists, and great support during the set up of the program for our company. Any questions or concerns they answer as best as they can, and if it is a new issue they work on resolving it ASAP.

Pros:

Great customer support 24/7. They also have a community board where other users can discuss issues or concerns that they ran into on Motive, and how they solved the issue. Motive is active on this as well, answering any concerns as well as they can.

Cons:

The only concern i would say about motive is that it is not a satellite telematics service. In long haul trucking we travel to a lot of areas where there is no cell service, and this leads to issues/concerns with tracking the unit.

Poor customer service

Comments: Multiple people pro active calling to sell you what you don’t need but won’t help you when you need to cancel what you don’t use

Pros:

Works when it works good, however the customer service is terrible. They will not help you cancel boxes you no longer use

Cons:

Would not cancel boxes we don’t use, surprise billing. Read up on BBC about them. Awful

Couldn't live without

Comments: Motiv made our lives simpler. I would definitely recommend to anyone starting out, as there's a ton of regulations to keep up with, use Motiv to help with your ELD needs, but the IFTA tax portion is a MUST HAVE.

Pros:

Motive- Formally Keep Trucking, was a great ELD software to help out drivers stay compliant. Easy view of all clocks from homepage. Reports and logs are easily accessable. Ifta Fuel Tax Reporting made simple.

Cons:

Cost. For Mom and Pop trucking companies, it is just another added expense. But to be fair, I don't know what their competitors charge.

Transportation Foreman job just got easier

Comments: It has been a process to learn the very interactive reporting platform. I can find all truck data + in a minute as well as track the entire fleet at 1 time.

Pros:

The support team in specific [sensitive content hidden] are the best I have seen in the industry. They are taking care of all of our needs and we have roughly 10,000 trucks in our fleet.

Cons:

We did not move on from our previous ELD company sooner!

Motive is a great tool to manage your fleet!

Comments: Overall we are very impressed with Motive and will continue using it to boost our Preventative Maintenance program, lone worker program, and help us to remain compliant with regulations.

Pros:

We like that we can see details such as speeds, infractions, hazards, and maintenance items all in one place. Motive helps us to keep our drivers safe, while remaining compliant with regulatory bodies. Our preventative maintenance program has been greatly improved with the notifications of mechanical issues that may arise.

Cons:

The only con to Motive would be when the GPS signal drops. Unfortunately operating out of northern Canada, it can get patchy with reception and occasionally that does affect the performance of the GPS.

Mavis My Way

Comments: It's been a good experience so far. The web runs smooth

Pros:

I like the fact I can put in the destination address and it gives me the ETA

Cons:

The look of the app and website is just dull, with not much color

Good and bad

Comments: I have been their customer for almost 2 years. They call me many times and Thats how I got their ELD and Dashcam. Unfortunately trucking business is went to a bad situation and I had to close down my business. Even if I was a good customer and I explained what is going on they didn’t even refund anything. I pay yearly and now they are saying I am in contract with 3 years and I have to pay next year also again because they can’t help anything with. I am advising everyone before you sign up with this company. They are not user friendly as you think. They give lots of wonderful words to make you sign with them but once you signed up they act differently. Beware about this matter please

Pros:

Service and functionality is good. It never got stuck in between.

Cons:

About price and contract. Little bit pricey and once we signed with them they are not flexible or user friendly as we think.

Comments: Like I said it's very easy to use and the logbook never glitches and the camera always has quality and easy to get a video when you need one

Pros:

The app and the devices never give me any problems as long as been using it. I prepaid for two years and now I don't have to worry about any monthly payments.

Cons:

My old app use to let me change the status from driving or to pc. Motive makes u stop for like 2 seconds before you change toys status.

Safety Director

Comments: Decent. Gave me what we needed for right then but not long term.

Pros:

An electronic option for paper logs to help drivers feel in everything that they are supposed to.

Cons:

Customer Service and the fact that they are still working on a lot of features.

Improving safety, productivity and flexibility all in one platform.

Comments: Significant reduction in fraudulent and wasteful experiences. It is the market leading solution to physical economy safety and reliability.

Pros:

Motive has been my best friend in the field of softwares. It is very accurate to reduce the risks on the road using the AI. It also saves us time and cost with deep insights into vehicle health, location and use. Theft prevention is well executed making it quite secure and precise.

Cons:

Customer Experience was not as expected. I rarely get feedbacks on time. That should probably be the point to improve on.

Motive Review

Comments: It's been pretty good. I was the one being watched on the camera and am now watching people on the camera. Each side has been good

Pros:

Ease of use. It is easy to hop on and find a certain individual

Cons:

Kills our Fleet batteries. We constantly have to charge the batteries after sitting for 1 week

Comments: Overall good experience, responsive customer service and user friendly website

Pros:

it makes it easy to keep up with multiple drivers across multiple departments and states.

Cons:

the changing algorithm and lack of communication about it.

Motive Can Be Helpful

Comments: It could be better, so far, no major issues

Motive is a convenient way to report defects

There is a lot of lag. Real time tracking is off at times.

User Friendly

Comments: I really like this product. Its very easy to use and navigate.

Pros:

You can use it anywhere to track drivers. Very user friendly.

Cons:

I run multiple reports daily. I would love to see more reporting features.

Best fleet management tool!

Comments: The interface is easy to use, which simplifies the tasks, the features are very comprehensive

Pros:

How accurate it is about driver's location, how user friendly it is

Cons:

Some pop up messages can be annoying, these might show up when doing some importan work

Motive best app

Comments: I'm very satisfied with motive, very smooth app, 10/10

Very accurate app to keep track of your driver

Syncing the driver with the truck, a lot of information to put in

Great for Any Driver

Comments: We have a very good experience so far. It has been a lifesaver for the logbook record-keeping.

Pros:

The features I like most are the real-time tracking, trip history and logbook integration. It makes trucking and managing driver much easier with less hassle.

Cons:

The site is easy enough to navigate with some coaching. A more intuitive format and labeling would be helpful. it seems to take a lot of clicks to access some of the information that should be more readily available, such as histories or reports.

I would look elsewhere

Comments: I would honestly look elsewhere if I was in the market to get a logbook. They make it very easy to lock you in and get your logbook connected and your debit card charged. Once that’s complete, they are done with you and wether their machine works or not is beyond them.

Pros:

I love how their sales team absolutely bombarded me with emails, calls, voicemail.

Cons:

Their ability to first of all fix a problems that has been identified, second the ability for them to still charge you the money you agreed upon when they are not providing ANY service.

Great Insight

Pros:

It gives you notifications for real time updates with our drivers

Cons:

Sometimes you get spam emails, but nothing crazy.

Motive is great ELD & has many other services!

Comments: My overall experience with Motive has been really well.

I like that when I call Motive they are friendly, professional, & experts of their products & services.

There is not much that I don’t like about Motive so I can’t think of anything.

Cons:

Alllowing the truck driver to see error codes? So they can talk to the mechanics when needed.They also charged my compnay card without warning or without a statement? How can I not see our financial side - account information. I have asked customer support for help.. no replies. Awful service on that end. Completely lose contact with anyone after you make the purchase. Not acceptable.

Motive

Comments: we have had problems trying to keep the system up and running and have simply given up on using the web cams. Service has been less than expected

Pros:

We were forced to use the ELDs. We did not choose to use them. The drivers found it difficult to adapt to it and have become used to it.

Cons:

The lay out is constaintly changing and for the most part, trying to get assistance is next to impossible. The equipment is unreliable and to expensive.
