"Achieving Deep Learning"
Comments: Really enjoyed using Ayoa and the results from student feedback. Many say they prefer this method to bums on seats lectures...
Pros: Having a combination of whiteboards, mind maps and a task planner all in one package was superb especially during delivery of online tutorials. Feedback from students (mature PT students doing construction management modules at Levels 5-6) was very good with only a few not liking the "new" way of learning, presenting and logging research etc. Great if you actually want students to develop their thinking/problem solving skills and then develop a plan in response.
Cons: The task manager was quite difficult to learn at first especially trying to create critical paths

Comments: This software help me study, think better, resolve problem, manage projects and to great presentations
Pros: I use to work with the older version I mind map 9 and I decided to upgraded to Ayoa and oh..boy! That is one good tool! On top of being easy to use, it's faster and user friendly
Cons: That I have to pay an extra to be able to access Google Calender

"Now my go-to task manager"
Comments: DropTask has helped my group track our many to dos efficiently and allows the whole team to know what needs to be done next and who needs to do it.
Pros: This review refers to the paid version. I bought a 1-year subscription to the pro service when they offered iMindmap 11 for free. This is a great value. I tried the software and was pleasantly surprised with the extent of training videos available. I was up and running in 10 minutes, although 2 weeks later I am still learning functionality as I increase my integration of the software into my daily routine. The graphical nature and simplicity of the software are helpful to me as I don't think in list mode. For those who do, there are multiple ways to view tasks and progress including more traditional list formats. The program integrates with iMindmap as well which is a plus for me, but unless you are a mindmapper, this feature will be unimportant to you. DropTask also has a web-based, PC, Android and Mac apps, however I find the iPad version easier to work with. The connectivity and team communication features work well and my 3 employees and I can easily collaborate, update progress and see where things are in real-time. I have purchased 3 other to do list apps and have also used a number of freebies, DropTask is what I use now and I have removed the others from my Apple devices. While I originally purchased the plan for the free iMindmap software, I have adopted DropTask and now use it constantly.
Cons: I like to view my tasks with the circle format and I find it a bit hard to see things on my iPhone X. It looks fine on my iPad and beautiful on my iPad pro. That said, I always have my phone with me, not my iPads. I am not sure if this is a limitation of the visual format or if it could be improved.

"DropTask beautifully scales up."
Comments: Because DropTask is web-based, I use it both at home for personal tasks, and at the office to manage my own work. My company uses Outlook 2010, but I don't enjoy the task list there. My function is business analyst. When I write user stories, I organize them in the Canvas view in DropTask. This is for my eyes only; no colleague is invited since this is not an office tool.
Pros: DropTask is versatile: you can use it as a simple task list, as a collaborative system, even as an agile tool... Most of the time, I find what I need just by looking where it seems to make sense - and there it is. The interface is beautiful and well thought through. My company uses Jira to manage workflows. It's great, but heavyweight. I could imagine small companies or teams using DropTask.
Cons: I don't know what happens to the files I attach to a task. Are they ever deleted? Are they kept somewhere? I am reluctant to attach files because I don't see DropTask as a safe storage place. I wish there was a way to attach files through DropTask to Google Drive, OneDrive, DropBox, on another dedicated service.

Hi there,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
I just wanted to make you aware that if you upload a file to DropTask, the file is stored securely in Amazon's S3 cloud storage service. The only people who have access to the file are the people who have access to the task that the file is attached to. Once the file is deleted from the task or the task is deleted, the file will be permanently deleted from Amazon's S3 cloud storage service.
If there's anything else that you're unsure on, please feel free to drop us a message at [email protected], where out customer support team will be happy to answer any questions that you may have. :-)
Many thanks,
Rowanne

"Great to go from idea to delivery"
Comments: I have been using mindmapping software and project management and task apps for 30 years and this has been the best experience
Pros:
Easy on the eye and to use.
Either has or will have all the funtionality needed to recognise tasks and sub tasks needed to manage any project with others as needed. Suitable and easy reminder system that works across platform:web, desktop, phone: android or iphone, tablet.
You can turn emails into tasks and add timing, importance, due dates and repeats as you do so - the email can be seen in the task.
Multiple views which can be filtered so you can get overview or closely focused view.
Cons: The last couple of updates have removed some minor issues that were an negative.

"It is the best software to draw organic mental maps faithful to the principles of Tony Buzan"
Comments: I use iMindMap every day to take notes, brainstorm or just clear my head
Pros: I love iMindMap and for years I have drawn maps useful to clarify ideas, take notes or pit long and complex documents. It's an easy, colorful and fun tool. The Mac version allows you to copy and paste images from the web or draw them by hand. There are a lot of features, not all of them perfect, but overall it's a really good product
Cons: Some sudden software closures are annoying and perhaps denote a certain obsolescence of the technology with which it is developed. The iOS version is definitely practical, but with much less functionality than that Mac or PC. The synchronization of proprietary (paid) cloud maps is also a bit cumbersome and not always accurate.

"Great for organizing tasks"
Comments: DropTask has genuinely saved me time, and it's not an app I'd ever want to go without.
Pros: DropTask has been a great tool to keep tasks within complex projects organized and moving forward. It integrates with Smartsheet and Google, so ties into other apps that I'm already using.
Cons: I think DropTask could do with more video supports. They have a nice written support section, but video tutorials would be more helpful.

"Original and Best: Mind Mapping as it should be done"
Comments: Having Mind Mapped on paper for over twenty years before this product came along, I was already very comfortable with the discipline. This was the first digital product I tried, nearly ten years ago, and it still stands out head and shoulders above its rivals as a pure Mind Mapping product. Others may seem to align closely with certain disciplines (engineering or IT), but none delivers as consistently as iMindMap.
Pros: iMindMap adheres more closely to Tony Buzan's original concept of mind-mapping as a discipline than any other rival I have tried. As, of course, it should. It is always intuitive and supports you seamlessly, especially if working on an ipad pro or similar large touch screen device.
Cons: The more detailed branch selection tool can be fiddly to control now that so many options are available in the full menu, but the simple default options (line or narrative box) are usually sufficient. Also, particularly in touch screen mode, it can be way too easy to input a branch or sub-branch by accident, just brushing the screen. The "undo" key helps, but it can interrupt your flow when working quickly.

"Creative thinking in business"
Comments:
I use iMindMap as management tool - to support communication.
It's easy to create advanced, innovative diagrams with elements, relations and contextual information in notes and attachments. It's very useful as presentation supporter with internal mode to do it. As mindmapping user - I often exchange data between application - for example iMindMap, MindManager, XMind etc.
Pros:
Very powerful tool in visual management area.
It's possible to create visual trees of data and present them as maps, Gantt chart, timeline, brainstorm or scape diagram.
It has "freehand" mode so it's really easy to present creative views of knowledge and concepts.
iMindMap has many options of data sharing: import and export from and to other formats, so it's very useful and can save time in document creation process.
Cons:
I would love to see more options like:
- tags and group of tags
- number calculations
- advanced filtering.

Comments: I have used this for many years across many businesses and different roles. Would definitely recommend DropTask to anyone looking for a simple to use task management app.
Pros: The visual interface makes this a simple tool to work with.
Cons: I still like to print out my daily task list. Unfortunately, there is no simple way to do this in Droptask, you need to export your entire list by project.

Comments: Love droptask as it gives me a good overview of my day and plan for the future. Never had any app do this before with ease. Everyday i wake up looking at droptask and end my day by planning for next day. Keep adding new features! Thank you for an excellent app!
Pros: Organizing one's time is a key success to business. I have searched and used plenty of tools before but drop task is so far the best due to its ability to show me the calendar, plan for my day and also the ease of use to add new tasks.
Cons: My only wish that it integrated with my calendar .

"The best task management software I've ever used!"
Comments: Exceptional. We've also had a demo with a team member called [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] who was extremely helpful and gave us ideas on how to map out our task boards.
Pros: It is a fantastic task management software. The taskboards have been revolutionary for us, the way we can onboard a new client. We used to have a simple spreadsheet to manage new client accounts. Since using Ayoa, not only has it saved us time but it has made us more organised and the whole team knows exactly what tasks they are assigned to. Game changer! We are also using it to map our own marketing strategy and our client's marketing strategy. There is still so much we could do on the system to make our life easier. Looking forward to seeing the new updates!
Cons: It would be good to put taskboards into one category

"Missing basic functionality found in other products. Deceptive advertising - no refunds!"
Comments: The visual representation of tasks was great.
Pros: The visual task representation is unique and helpful. For a visual person it really helps to keep a handle on everything.
Cons: Missing functionality cripples this software and makes it very difficult to fit into your workflow. For example, they finally added the ability to add sub-tasks, but you can't put separate due dates on them. There is no "Canvas View" in the Android app to show the circles that are the raison d'être for DropTask. Finally, the company OpenGenius is downright crooked! They make you sign up for a year to even try the full business version, but then bury the fact that it is non-refundable for any reason down in section 14.8 of their terms & conditions.

"Collaborate and plan your activities with ingenuity"
Comments: We have used it internally to verify the material of the courses and the logistic of realization, it is excellent to have a clearly visual approach of everything and to see the fulfillment of the processes that lead to the fulfillment of each task. It is ideal for assembling the academic program of the quarter and visualizing the progress in each of its phases in detail. Being a visual platform facilitates the detection of obstacles and obstacles to correct.
Pros: Planning and monitoring with a visual focus is what makes it attractive for organizing, collaborating with co-workers and sharing information. Its interface is innovative, modern, attractive and intuitive, synchronizes in good time between the different devices, and has perfect integration with the Google calendar.

"Magic for the visually focused"
Comments: I have used it to plan my personal workload. I have many monthly, annual, etc. tasks that sometimes get forgotten until the OMG that ensues with the reminder emails! DropTask not only helped me sort those things, having to categorize them helped me remember better overall. It served as both a reminder/self-program manager and as a tool to assist with recall.
Pros: I really like that it is in colored circles and that there are tools within the software to denote different priorities, etc. with a glance. I also appreciate the new My Planner feature. Lastly, I like the coordination between DropTask and iMindMap.
Cons: At first, the price. However, I was able to take advantage of a buy 'x' years and get 'y' years free. That made it appealing to me as an individual. Functionally, I have no issues with the software. My main complaint is that I cannot sell others on the magic that is DropTask.

"A great way of visualising your lists and tasks"
Comments: I tend to treat all tasks as the same priority in a liner list or simply start at the top and work down. DropTask allows a visual represtation of the tasks that really matter
Pros: The visual nature of DropTask allows you to organise your thorughts and tasks in a way that is pleasing on the eye and focuses the mind on what is important.
Cons: That there is no way of building a template of tasks / lists - There are a number of DropTasks processes that I want to set-up a list of 30+ tasks - mark them as complete and then start again. e.g. a Checklist for on-boarding new staff

"So Helpful with Organizing My Team!"
Pros: I love how easy Droptask is to use. It's very intuitive. It also helps my team prioritize tasks and emails us reminders when deadlines are coming up so that we don't let important projects and deadlines slip through the cracks.
Cons: We really wish that there was a way to view what everyone is working on without creating all of our projects within another project. There should be a "can view" feature so that the executive team (or anyone with "admin" permissions) can view projects but not necessarily edit them or be assigned to a task. This way, supervisors can be kept up-to-date about what their team is working on.
