Comments: I, personally think it’s great in my daily use of it but there are some frustrations with some of its functionality

Pros:

You can tell Paycor takes your business seriously and works very hard to give what you need toy get your job done efficiently

Cons:

The reporting platform is confusing and not easy to use at all. It’s disappointing. Also we have A LOT of issues with our employees using the app. They are constantly frustrated with it which makes our job so much harder.

Comments: Implementation was very rough and we are still fixing things almost 2 years later. The program itself is great.

Pros:

Ease of use for Payroll. Able to figure out payroll without verymuch effort.

Cons:

Not having a dedicated representative for our account.

Comments: Horrible - lack of ownership. Refusal to research data issues. Outright lies about functionality of product vs actual usage.

Pros:

We truly liked our salesperson, but even they have left Paycor now.

Cons:

No audit trail, no dedicated support, refusal to allow access to all support teams when we had questions, lack of connectivity in their own products

Comments: Great! Easy set up and help when needed, I love the new chat feature that makes getting help easy while continuing other work!

Pros:

The designated setup team makes implementation so easy. Each department is included and thorough. The reports being able to be customizable is a great help.

Cons:

During payroll weeks the time cards are slow to load we always have to do refreshes or shut the browser down and reopen

Paycor could be better

Comments: This system was handed down to my team as a result of an acquisition, and it has not been super smooth.

Pros:

The welcome page for Paycor is fine. It provides some quick updates up front, but the benefits stop there.

Cons:

Other than the front dashboard, I don't find Paycor to be very user-friendly. It's a cumbersome system that is not intuitive and requires more clicking around to find what you need than I think should be necessary.

Paycor is user friendly

Comments: It was generally positive though I have had better experiences with other payroll companies.

Pros:

It was easy to add new employees and input their hours

Cons:

I did not like that we had to pay to get payroll information shortly after our service ended.

Dissatisfied

Comments: Very dissatisfied, prompting a change to another provider

Pros:

I did not have a good experience with Paycor.

Cons:

No customer service help. Never spoke to anyone that had English as their first language, which caused several problems in just clear communications and understanding/guidance.

Hassle Free

Comments: It's been relatively hassle free and integrates easily

Pros:

It was what our Benefits Broker suggested so that's why we use it. As a result, we didn't have to go through the vetting process ourselves.

Cons:

There was one missed payroll that I had to report shortly after getting started with them They fixed the situation and there have been no further problems since then

Comments: Overall, it's a most positive experience. I think they need to develop their benefits implementation, open enrollment support and EDI feeds. I will say once everything is up and running the platform operations

Pros:

The payroll platform is so seamless and easy to use. This is the best function of the platform. I also like the ATS; it's also easy to post, review, store notes/scorecards, and schedule interviews. The hire to onboarding process is perfect.

Cons:

The customer service and benefits implimentation and enrollment is not the best or smoothest I've used. Once set up, it runs fine.

Comments: Mostly good with room for improvement: They clearly have been busy on building out new products and features which is great. The support could use work as could integrating these new products so they are more seamless with their base product.

Pros:

They are constantly coming up with new features. We came from a system that wasn't as powerful - payroll was clunkier, no performance management, etc. Paycor from the start had many more features and they continue to build more.

Cons:

These new features sometimes have huge bugs that haven't been worked out and when the function is implemented, there isn't always a lot of support during implementation. Some of the newer features aren't fully integrated so you have to manually adjust things like reporting lines. When you do reach out for support, it is very inconsistent in the answers you get and the knowledge of the product.

Best so far

Pros:

Paycor has been wonderful since our implementation. The transition process from our previous provider was made super simple by their implementation team, who were able to screen share and walk us through pulling everything they needed in under an hour and a half (compared to a two WEEK process when we switched providers before that). They've remained in touch and been there anytime we had difficulties, which have been few. Their service after the sale has been phenomenal. I appreciate that they continue to offer support and reach out periodically to check in on us, and we have a dedicated customer success manager who we partner with occasionally to discuss our needs and new features.

Cons:

Their customer service hotline has been spotty recently (last few months) but overall is still helpful and reassuring.

Good product, no direction

Comments: I have had to learn everything on my own and I would have preferred to have an established and developed relationship with a dedicated Paycor account rep who understands our industry and business. There is a lot of room for improvement. I like the product but the implementation was horrible and a lack of responsibility and urgency from the PayCor Implementation Team, with the exception of [sensitive content hidden], who was fantastic.

Pros:

I like the new product development and constant evolution of the products

Cons:

I do not like the level of support we receive for the amount of money we pay every month. The follow up is lacking and it seems to a random hit or miss when reaching someone in customer care.

Customer service is awful.

Comments: I did not choose this system, and I would never recommend it. When I make an error it is ridiculously hard to get help. When Paycor makes an error it is ridiculously hard to get help.

Pros:

Easy to use, and does have some good features.

Cons:

Most features don't work or don't work properly if you do not use their time and attendance module. Features are added and then taken away frequently. No ability to make notes in most parts of the employee database. Salespeople promise things that are not true and then they disappear. Customer service is a joke. Anyone who actually knows anything is so protected from the public that it is impossible to get any real answers. They just keep referring you to their online answers which cover only the basics - not the things you actually need help with.

Happy Paycor Customer

Comments: We have been using Paycor for about 3 years. It was a rocky start with our PTO plans not calculating correctly but have fixed those issues. I have taken the time to get Paycor Certified and that has helped me know my way around reporting and timekeeping, which was tricky to figure out at the start. Through the years, I truly believe Paycor is dedicated to improving because I see it every day.

Pros:

It's easy to use! Paycor offers a ton of options to have the system work exactly how you need it to. The trainings are also fabulous!!

Cons:

They do like to change things around, which can be frustrating, but they have a ton of guides to make you aware of what's changing.

Paycor is robust

Pros:

I like the features in and around the settings management. I like the historical data for the purpose of analytics and for the purpose of getting a quick snapshot of a specific employee's journey through the organization - ie hire date, rate changes, manager changes, status changes, etc

Cons:

its ever-changing offerings and features (or the names for them - COR and Paths and Gravity and Perform and CareerCast and SmartSourcing, etc) and how we arent able to access all the features that we are paying for - we have to call them and ask for access to them one by one. Also the onboarding feature is rough
