Eventbrite is a Key Software for Community-Driven Start-Up Success

5.0 4 months ago

Comments: I love Eventbrite and am grateful for how it has helped us launch a business! Another perk of Evenrbrite is that it does help with SEO! Many of our early attendees found us through Google (because of the Eventbrite) or through Eventbrite itself.

Pros:

Eventbrite is a great tool for event tickets if your organization does not have a website! I have used Eventbrite to help build a community-driven business centered around events. It's been a great software to help make attendee communication, registration and tracking easy!

Cons:

It took a few events for us to research how to use Eventbrite properly and get our settings correct. Definitely recommend watching training videos and learning the platform vs learning by trial! This will save you time and dollars!

Evebtbrite: My one stop solution to plan marketing evrnts to meet like minded people

4.0 2 months ago New

Comments: Overall I am very happy and satisfied with the product. It has reduced my dependency of searching the events on web and helped me in keeping a track of what I'm attending at what time I'm planning my overall marketing calendar of the month.

Pros:

Structuring of the events; almost all matketing events that I attend, I keep planning and booking from eventbrite. I even have the app since 2 years. The events are also pin pointed geography wise and there is plethora of online webinars also.

Cons:

Although my preferences are set for marketing events, I do not get ample push notifications. Slight nudge from the app would help in better planning

Does the job but could be better

3.0 4 months ago

Comments: I like using Eventbrite for our organisation's events as it means that ticketing and guest list is all held in one place and I can schedule event reminders to automatically send by email near the time of the event. However, it can be complicated to use and expensive.

Pros:

Helpful for managing event ticketing, and I like the feature to schedule event reminders. There are a lot of advanced features if you need them.

Cons:

It can be complicated to set up an event if you don't need to use any of the advanced features.

Predatory pricing makes it not appealing for users or organizers

5.0 2 months ago New

Comments: It was good overall but since the new changes, it doesnt feel like the right platform to expose our public to. We have moved to a competitor.

Pros:

the fact that you can have profiles for your business that are findable and people can follow and be notified about is an invaluable tool that some other platforms dont have. By being the most / or most used , they have most of the market, which is not ideal, but useful for being discovered.

Cons:

the fee structure is predatory, even more now. Now even the free events have a maximum number of tickets which deems the platform useless even for free events. The non profit status is not considered in any meaningful way for a non profit event producer to use. The profiles dont let you know who is following your own organization.

Love Eventbrite Hate the Fees

5.0 last month New

Comments: Overall , Eventbrite is a wonderful user friendly platform but the fees definitely are too high for both parties involved.

Pros:

I liked that Eventbrite allowed me to input FAQ section. It also allowed me to add images to showcase my event to future attendees.

Cons:

I did not like the fees. I felt like the fees were ridiculously high for individuals buying tickets and also high for me as an event sponsor.

4.0 6 months ago

Comments: In general I feel it is a great platform and I like getting my event information through it.

Pros:

Great way to learn about in person and online events of interest to me in my area and to get tickets.

Cons:

While browsing events and getting tickets is mostly free other than the cost of the tickets, and creating small events (25 tickets or less) is pretty straight forward. in order to do larger events I have to pay for a subscription.

Pros:

Eventbrite excels with its user-friendly interface, customizable event pages, various ticketing options, built-in promotion tools, detailed analytics, mobile accessibility, and strong community focus.

Plan outings on fingertips.

3.0 11 months ago

Comments: Eventbrite is flexible, secure and accessible. It provides a lot of categories to choose from. The exhaustive model is truly one of a kind!

Pros:

The most liked feature of Eventbrite has to be how user-friendly the interface is. It serves as an exceptional marketing tool to promote events. The page management provides all the information in a comprehensive manner. The analytical report provides an excellent overview of traffic, attendee movements and other insights that allows to take informed decisions in the future. It allows the host to update FAQs and also interact with the attendees making it truly exhaustive. The mobile accessibility for both the host and the attendee really allows to handle things on fingertips.

Cons:

What i don't like is that it doesn't allow to put the original website page on the dashboard. Sometimes certain categories of events are empty. I've had problems to increase the reach of the event as well. Providing guidelines for the same would be absolutely helpful.

Eventbrite review

5.0 6 months ago

Comments: The integration with social media and email marketing tools helps in effectively reaching a broader audience. Additionally, the analytics and reporting features provide valuable insights into attendee behavior, which is crucial for improving future events. The ability to customize event pages and manage registrations in real-time are other standout features that make Eventbrite a top choice for event planning.

Pros:

What I liked most about Eventbrite is its user-friendly interface and robust features that make event management and ticketing incredibly efficient. The platform is intuitive, allowing organizers to easily create, promote, and manage events of all sizes

Cons:

One aspect I liked least about Eventbrite is the reliance on email for event reminders. There were a few instances where I missed events because I didn’t see the email in time. It would be more effective if Eventbrite offered the option to send reminder notifications via WhatsApp or SMS, ensuring that users receive timely updates through their preferred communication channels.

Eventbrite completely provided a ticket sales solution for our youth conference

4.0 6 months ago

Comments: Overall Eventbrite made ticket sales for our conference a breeze. The site is pretty intuitive and, as I mentioned, the payouts are super prompt and detailed.

Pros:

Eventbrite is easy to set up for an event. We set up a conference with over 300 attendees with multiple discount codes. Payments are super easy and paid out quickly. The analytics are really helpful. We also used Eventbrite for our 50 volunteer positions. Since it was for volunteers we were able to use the Eventbrite app free of charge and easily set up extra options such as shirt sizes and preference of days/areas to serve.

Cons:

Our greatest issue with our volunteer sign up is that it constantly got "sold out" with applications from India and Africa asking for letters of invitation to Canada for our event. I asked Eventbrite if I could limit the volunteer sign-up to our province, or even only Canada, but they have no way to do that. As such, I had to go into the app daily to delete ineligible volunteers.

Eventbrite Review: Room for Improvement

4.0 5 months ago

Pros:

I thought Eventbrite was relatively easy to buy tickets on, and I liked receiving an email confirmation once purchased.

Cons:

When I bought my tickets for an event on Eventbrite, I was not given a barcode to check in at the event. It seemed as though there was miscommunication between the organizer of the event and Eventbrite. I used the "help" feature to attempt to talk to a representative, but no one got back to me in time. Seems very disorganized.

Easy to submit information! Organized!

5.0 3 months ago

Comments: I have been using Eventbrite for local events for a few years now. It hasn’t taken me long to become familiar with the process and it’s simple to navigate. The organization is impeccable and I like the helpful tool of Eventbrite remembering your information for future events.

Pros:

I enjoy how organized it is, making it simple to plug in personal information. The process is quick and can be done in a timely manner (around 3 minutes or less). I also like how verification e-mails are sent and the event can be easily entered into a mobile calendar.

Cons:

The e-mails about other events can be a bit excessive. The program may also be difficult for those who are not tech-savvy and may need assistance.

Eventbrite - organized. detailed. endless.

3.0 4 months ago

Comments: I've used eventbrite for both personal and business purposes. I really enjoy surfind through Eventbrite on the weekends to find the right activity for me. Eventbrite features activities in my local area as well as events going on within my work space. The filter features allow me to sort through my availability from date and time to locations. I'm able to easily register and recall details through the post or through the confirmation email.

Pros:

Plenty of details. Categorized and well organized

Cons:

Many of the categories are open ended, allowing for duplicate information to be shared. Causing posts to be unnecessarily long.

Pros:

Eventbrite is great even for free accounts. It does SEO so well and appears on Google easily. It also allows for a great level of customization.

I would like it to integrate more with third party registration software. We aren't selling tickets, but would love to direct people to our registration platform.

Pros:

I like Eventbrite's user-friendly interface and comprehensive tools that simplify event planning, promotion, and management. It offers efficient solutions for organizers and attendees, contributing to successful and enjoyable events.

Makes events easy!

5.0 3 months ago

Comments: Overall, Eventbrite is a great solution. It's easy for first-time event coordinators, seamless for ticket purchasers, and intuitive for last-minute volunteers tasked with working the door. Door check-ins are quick with either scan or manual check-in by name, and purchases are quick and customizable (i.e. admin can offer reduced prices after a certain time, etc.).

Pros:

Eventbrite is a great entry-level ticketing software. It's easy to set up, easy to use, customizable for administrators, and allows you to create specific roles. Having a dedicated role for door staff with only the functions they need can significantly speed up the guest entry process.

Cons:

Manual entry for credit cards is cumbersome if you don't have Square or a similar solution on board.
