I love ELSA SPEAK

Comments: It helped me to speak English fluently. I love it.

Pros:

It's helping me to modify my pronunciation and speak as natives and learning me many phrases and vocabulary is in different situations. It uses more methods like conversations, texts, video calls, listening tests, and others.

Cons:

I can't modify the text size. I can't copy any text. The translation into Arabic is not professional.

Pros:

Pronunciation recognition - I really liked that I can say something and Elsa recognizes my mistakes and guves me guidelines how to improve it.

Cons:

The Continue button - it should be automatized, so wheb I click on the choosed word it should be move forward and shouldnt wait for me to press continue all the time.

Comments: I am not interested in spending more time with ELSA speaking

Pros:

The software needs amendment since it doesn't have a specified program for a student; it should give a clear timetable for the student about the program, for example; how many days the spelling requires, how many days grammar, how many days reading and how many days writing the writing requires.

Cons:

only adhering to one part of training especially the spelling discouraging the student

Helps me with the pronunciation a lot

Pros:

This software is very useful if you want to improve your pronunciation. You can hear the correct pronunciation for each sentence and compare it to yours. It's even possible to slow it down. The incorrect pronunciation is highlighted so you know where to improve. What I like the most: - Easy progress tracking / noticable progress - Different topics to choose from - Multiple fields to improve in (pronunciation, intonation, listening, word stress, conversation) - Difficulty levels - Business English - Affordable - Nice design

Cons:

Sometimes it seems to me that a word isn't recognized properly. The pronunciation sounds correct to me but according to Elsa Speak it's not.

Good app for Speaking practice

Comments: I am glad to practice with ELSA Speak. I also share it on my SNS. A lot of my friends told me that they use this app because of me.

I like everything about this app except some bugs and lack of progress summarize

First impression of Elsa

Pros:

I started using the trial version of the application and quickly included it in my daily English study practice. Through a quick test, it is possible to identify specific pronunciation and intonation problems, which directs the efforts to be taken. The application has a bank of video clips of interviews, lectures in real situations that greatly facilitate the understanding of sounds previously unperceived with the use of artificial intelligence.

Cons:

I don't find the program so easy to manage. When starting each study session I am presented with many "recommended", "by topics" or "games" options for training, when it would be more intuitive to continue directly from where I left off.

Comments: I've been using the app for 3 weeks, but feel more confident that the pronunciation is correct. And still have to practice a lot. and i think this app It will help me to develop my speaking to an advanced level.

Translation of some words or sentences in Thai Still not as good as it should be Some sentences or some words are not correct. In addition I didn't find any problems in the app unless when the internet signal is not good The app might be processing slow.I just waited a while Provide better internet signal, no problem.

Quite good but with some bugs

Pros:

What I like the most is the ability to see our progresses as the days go by. I learn to have a very good pronounciations and fluency...

Cons:

But the league system is very not accurate... I mean, I used to play to have a good score until someone reach 40K points in 6 days... How this can be possible ??? Speaking like a robot or repeating sentences over and over again because the app doesn't recognize all words and syllable is boring and stressing... Sometimes, I have to quit exercice because it doesn't work properly even if I "force" my word to be clearer...

Pros:

I liked one thing most it provides correction to even a single word when we are pronouncing it.

Cons:

Sometime software lags and won't able to capture voice it becomes irritating.

What else, Elsa?

Comments: Generally ok but, after a significant engagement, in the beginning, I felt like "ok... what else, Elsa?"

Pros:

I liked the general appearance of the app: beautiful and easy to use. the speech recognition function has been surprising the first time: it helped me a lot to understand that, even micro differences between sounds, can change the meaning and the effectiveness of my speech.

Cons:

After a couple of days, I understood that the "type" of exercises were almost the same 3-4. Different content, ok, but not having new kinds of exercises made the experience less challenging every passing day. I would prefer to access new exercises when reaching new levels of the "game". The speaking exercises, for example, after a while reading the answers purposed by the software, could become that I have to answer the question in the dialogue, inventing the sentences myself.

Amazing English language AI couch in your phone

Pros:

The app is brilliant! It helped me to correct my pronunciation mistakes in few months. It never happened during my 10+ years of learning English in schools. I'm happy to get closer to the native pronunciation every day. I like the most the feature of selecting a certain word and exercising just it. The app is absolutely great!

Cons:

I do not find any cons so far. Maybe some integration with real teachers live could be introduce to enrich learning experience.

Like any app, Elsa could use some further updates, new features. I feel like the intonation and fluency features could be more accurate or better explained.

Superb app for learning english pronunciation

Comments: The app is good for me as I can practice it whenever there are free moments in a day or week. Also, the speech recognition along with the question replaying feature is perfect for me.

Pros:

The speech recognition that I use on ELSA is excellent! I also love using the dictionary and listening to stories.  I've recommended this app for my friends to use.

Cons:

It would be helpful to have the speaking raised by option for the advanced users to seek lessons from teachers on how to get some corrections on pronunciation. I sometimes find it difficult to use these kinds of apps, especially when I am trying to learn a second language. It'd bring me huge advantages if there could be some sort of community of people who are willing to help out with communicating via the app itself without having to report every mistake I make.

Can improve your english skill.

Pros:

I can improve my English intonation and accent by using this apps. I can track my wrong accent very easily.

Cons:

it would be great to choose options of English accents like the USA, the UK and so on. This is because I’m studying IELTS and I want to improve speaking ability more. So, if you give me choices to study British accent or States accent, this app can develop more.

Easy tools and catchy because in other app there are lots of complicated and reduddant tools which further limits the learning capacity of learners whereas ELSA hasnot.

Limited free learning options, if you provide abjndant learning tools, certainly we costmoer would buy the product for our benefits.
